Under The Pier

One of my favorite things about Florida beaches are the piers. I am always so amazed by their simple yet beautiful construction. Anyone who has stood under the pier can appreciate how the lines of the pillars align and give you such an incredible perspective.

Luckily for me, one of the nights I was out under and around the pier, I got a fantastic sunset where the colors really popped with orange and blue. I ended up taking about a hundred photos in this shoot because it was so hard to get the sky exposed without the pier being too dark. I also wanted to get the wave just right to show the reflection on the sand. After going through a couple hundred shots of the pier from that night, I ended up with one which I really love.
