This shot was taken in Venice, Florida in 2023. When taking photos of sunsets, I always try to incorporate something into the foreground of my shots. It creates interest and depth and makes the photo much more interesting to look at. Luckily for me, in Florida we sometimes get rolling waves which give us a really incredible look when you can get your camera right down to the ground and get the timing just right. After about 1,200 photos of the rolling waves timed with the peak of the sunset, I finally got this shot.
